This Privacy Policy explains how Lizard Touch Technology ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile game Squares of Life ("the Game"), available on Android (Google Play) and iOS (App Store).
By downloading or using the Game, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Squares of Life does not have user accounts. You do not create a profile, and we never ask for your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, or any other information that identifies you personally. You can play the entire Game without providing us with any personal information at all.
Depending on how you use the Game, the following information may be collected:
The Game does not request access to your camera, photo library, microphone, contacts, calendar, precise location, or files. It does not send push notifications. On Android the only permissions it declares are internet access and billing.
Your game data is stored locally on your device using the browser storage inside the app. This includes your saved board, scores and score history, coin balance, purchased and earned power-ups, selected character pack, and all your settings. This data is not uploaded to our servers — we do not operate a server that receives it — and it is not shared with third parties.
Because this data lives only on your device, uninstalling the Game deletes it. Paid purchases are the exception: your Premium unlock and any coins you bought can be recovered with the Restore purchases button in Settings, because the stores keep a record of what you paid for.
Squares of Life offers the following optional in-app purchases:
Payments are processed by Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS), and managed by RevenueCat. We do not collect or store your payment card details. RevenueCat identifies your device with a randomly generated anonymous identifier — we do not send it your name, email address, or any other identifier that could be traced back to you — and reports back only whether a purchase is valid, so the Game knows which features to unlock and how many coins to restore.
Squares of Life can submit your scores to a leaderboard and track achievements through Apple Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android). This is entirely optional.
If you sign in, the Game submits your score at the end of a run and your progress toward achievements. It does not submit anything else — no settings, no purchase information, and no personal information, because we do not hold any. If you do not sign in, nothing is submitted and the Game remains fully playable; your scores simply stay on your device.
Your Game Center or Play Games identity belongs to Apple or Google, not to us. We never receive your account credentials. Any nickname or avatar shown on a leaderboard comes from that account and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy or Google's Privacy Policy. You can sign out, or hide your leaderboard presence, through your device's Game Center or Play Games settings.
The free version of the Game displays ads provided by Google AdMob: a banner during play, an occasional full-screen ad when a run ends, and optional rewarded videos you can choose to watch in exchange for coins or a power-up. AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier, IP address, and interactions with ads to deliver and measure them.
Purchasing Premium removes the banner and full-screen ads. Rewarded videos remain available to Premium owners because they are entirely optional and are the only way to earn certain free rewards — you are never shown one unless you tap to watch it.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or a US state with applicable privacy legislation, the Game shows you a consent form the first time it runs, using Google's User Messaging Platform. Your choice determines whether the ads you see are personalized. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized — chosen without reference to your interests or past activity.
You can review or change that choice at any time from Settings → Privacy → Ad privacy choices inside the Game. You can also control ad personalization through your device or Google account settings.
Information is used to:
The Game uses the following third-party services, which may collect information according to their own privacy policies:
These services may collect device information, advertising identifiers, purchase status, or other data required to provide their services. Please review their respective privacy policies for more information.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not operate servers that receive your game data, so there is no store of it for us to share. The limited information described above flows directly from your device to the third-party services listed in section 8, which act as our service providers for advertising and purchase management. We may disclose information if required by law or legal process.
Your game data is retained on your device until you delete it or uninstall the Game. Data held by the third-party services in section 8 is retained according to their own policies. Purchase records are retained by the app stores for as long as needed to support restores, refunds, and their own legal obligations.
Squares of Life is a general-audience game. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The Game includes third-party advertising and in-app purchases and is not designed for, or targeted at, a child audience. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Game, please contact us at the address below and we will take appropriate action.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information. Because we do not hold personal information about you, the most direct way to exercise these rights over your game data is to delete it from your device by uninstalling the Game. For data held by the third parties in section 8, contact them directly using their published privacy contacts. You may also contact us with any request and we will help where we can.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. Since your game data is stored locally on your device, its security also depends on your device's own protections (passcode, biometrics, encryption). However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
